Control Center wins FARA award

ORLANDO, Fla.—At a symposium held here last week, the False Alarm Reduction Association presented the Control Center, a division of RFI, with the 2013 FARA Industry Achievement Award, according to a company statement.
The Control Center won the award on the strength of its effort to reduce false alarm dispatches by restructuring its program to reach out to dealers and customers who have excessive false signals.
A FARA member, the Control Center routinely develops reports, identifies problem accounts, and contacts each problem account personally, the statement noted. The company then troubleshoots with the customer or dealer to correct the problem.
