LEAGUE CITY, Texas – Eagle Broadband has won a $1.6-million contract for the design and installation of a remote video surveillance system at undisclosed government-owned, multi-family housing facilities in the U.S.
Overall, the system that will be implemented will provide security for more than 2,000 units. The contract includes hundreds of video cameras, audio speakers and digital video recorders.
Eagle expects to complete the project during the fourth quarter of this year. At that time, the company will be considered to offer monitoring services for the deployment.
