Farpointe appoints new director of engineering

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Farpointe Data has announced the appointment of Brendon Allen as its new director of engineering.
Allen brings over 16 years of experience in engineering and security technology. In his new role he will oversee the development of cutting-edge ID solutions that meet the evolving needs of electronic access control system manufacturers and their customers. Farpointe noted that Allen’s extensive background in the development of electronic security products aligns perfectly with its mission to provide the most reliable RFID products on the market.

Prior to joining Farpointe Data, Allen held key leadership roles at Alvarado, Stanley Security, and Allegion, where he spearheaded numerous successful projects and contributed to significant technological advancements. Allen holds a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.
