Global ePoint taps Gates

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif.--Global ePoint on Nov. 20 appointed former Los Angeles Police Department Chief and regarded terrorism authority Daryl F. Gates as president of the digital video surveillance manufacturer.
Gates serves on Global ePoint's board of directors and was chairman of Global Airworks, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Global ePoint. He will continue to serve on the board in addition to overseeing operations of the entire company.
