ST. LOUIS - Hackett Security has launched a new digital video monitoring and archiving service, along with a national dealer network.
The company said the new offerings are designed to round out and add depth to its current product and service mix.
Another benefit, according to company President Michael Hackett, is the ability to tie a customer’s alarm in to live video images in its central station, which will help the company meet alarm verification standards that municipalities across the country have implemented or are considering.
“ We can pull up the video to rule out false alarms, as well as provide video alarm verification to police agencies,†Hackett said.
Hackett Security will also provide its customers with long-term video archiving and storage that will allow clients to store recorded images for up to five years at Hackett’s site. Both the video monitoring and storage services are delivered securely over the Internet, the company said.
Through its dealer network, Hackett Security will allow its dealers to offer these services to their client base.
