Hall of Famer John Smoltz brings All-Star leadership to ESX 2025’s General Session

COBB COUNTY, Ga.—The Electronic Security Association (ESA) has announced that Major League Baseball (MLB) Hall of Fame pitcher John Smoltz will be the General Session guest speaker at Electronic Security Expo (ESX) 2025, taking place June 16-19 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta.

The General Session, presented on the Main Stage at ESX on June 18 from 10:30 a.m.–noon, is an inspirational and energizing event that brings together security dealers, integrators, and monitoring professionals. It also serves as a celebration of the industry’s brightest stars, including the prestigious presentation of the Weinstock Award.

A right-handed pitcher, Smoltz was an eight-time All-Star and Cy Young Award winner. He earned first-ballot admission into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015, a testament to his outstanding playing career that qualified him as one of the cornerstone pieces of the Atlanta Braves dynasty that ruled the National League throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.
