MELVILLE, N.Y.—Honeywell has added Countryside Lock & Alarms, based in Mt. Holly, Vt., to its First Alert Professional Dealer program, according to a company statement.
Countryside provides a range of security and life safety solutions to families and businesses in New England. The company specializes in fire and burglar alarms, access control solutions and video surveillance systems. Countryside also offers control of cameras, Z-Wave thermostats, lights and shades with Honeywell's Tuxedo Touch Home Controller, the statement noted.
“We started when high-tech security electronics were being introduced and were difficult to use, and we have always strived to offer options that make security easy and reliable for our customers,” Michael Blais, owner of Countryside, said in the statement. “The added support of the First Alert Professional Dealer program helps us continue to offer quality products to this region.”
Honeywell's dealer network, which consists of more than 500 security contractors, provides support in sales techniques and marketing strategies for both commercial and residential systems. The customized support extends to intrusion detection, fire safety system, CCTV and access control solutions, according to the statement.
