i-PRO appoints Gerard Figols as CPO, succeeded by Riolobos

TOKYO – i-PRO announced that it has appointed Gerard Figols as the company's chief product officer (CPO).

With a career spanning over 17 years in the physical security industry, i-PRO said that Figols brings a wealth of global experience and strategic vision to his new role.

In his most recent position as president of i-PRO EMEA and i-PRO APAC,  the company said that Figols demonstrated exceptional leadership in driving the its growth and success in those markets.

As chief product officer, Figols will be tasked with spearheading i-PRO's global product strategy. “Gerard’s appointment as CPO underscores our mission to establish i-PRO as a truly global organization. Building on his years of experience working across cultures, Gerard will be able to leverage insights from different business regions to develop best-in-class products suited to the needs of different industries and markets,” said Masato Nakao, CEO at i-PRO.

In a related announcement, i-PRO has appointed Jose Riolobos as Figols’ successor to the role of president of i-PRO EMEA. For several years, Riolobos held senior positions within i-PRO and, previously, Panasonic in Europe and Japan.
