Johnson Controls launches Simplex Foundation Series

MILWAUKEE – Johnson Controls has announced the launch of their Simplex Foundation Series fire detection systems which offers protection to small and mid-sized buildings.
Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings, describes the Foundation Series as an off-the-shelf fire detection solution that features both addressable and non-addressable models, as well as a range of reliable and proven Simplex devices.
“Today’s installers are busier than ever and don’t always have time to learn new technologies for each installation,” said Anna Khanova, vice president, global product management, Johnson Controls. “The Simplex foundation series provides an all-in-one, easy-to-install fire detection solution backed by the same quality that our customers expect.”
Requiring minimal training to install and program, the series is ideal for technicians and electricians of all levels who want to complete their job “efficiently and competitively”. It launches with a free mobile app and quick, easy-to-follow online training. The series is comprised of four new fire alarm control units, including two non-addressable models with both four- and eight-zone options and two addressable models with 50- and 250-point options. The addressable control units feature a 4-line by 40-character LCD display.
