Kratos wins $7.8 million contract

SAN DIEGO—Kratos Public Safety & Security (PSS) division on March 19 announced it received a new $7.8 million critical infrastructure security system contract award.
Kratos will design, engineer, deploy and integrate into command and control infrastructure a leading technology security system for an unspecified mass transportation authority in a major city and metropolitan area in the United States. The security system will include video surveillance, analytics, access control and other specialized security-related assets.
“Kratos' PSS business is currently deploying specialized security systems at certain of our country's most important strategic assets, critical infrastructure and public venues, and this new customer engagement will be a very high profile program within our company,” Ben Goodwin, president of the division, said in a prepared statement.
