Longtime Georgia dealer joins Honeywell FAP program

MELVILLE, N.Y.—Honeywell has added one of Georgia's largest privately held and longest-running security companies to its First Alert Professional Dealer Program, the company announced Feb. 13.
Owen Security Solutions, based in Calhoun, Ga., was founded 40 years ago. The family-owned company provides customized, fully integrated security and life safety systems for homes and businesses throughout Georgia and neighboring Chattanooga, Tenn., according to a Honeywell news release.
With more than 2,000 accounts across northwest Georgia, Owen Security designs, installs and monitors custom fire, security, video, access control and home automation systems. Its monitoring center is Five Diamond certified by the Central Station Alarm Association, the release said.
“We've spent four decades developing relationships and keeping our family-owned values a top priority. Becoming a First Alert Professional Dealer lets us collaborate with the most experienced and proven industry experts who value meaningful relationships as much as we do,” said Justin Owen, president of Owen Security, in a prepared statement. “This partnership will help us continue to improve the services we offer clients, aligning with the standards my father set when he started this company.”
