MIST Innovations, Inc. names former NFL star Freddie Scott as sales exec

DETROIT—MIST Innovations, a developer of network security monitoring devices, announced Feb. 16 the naming of Freddie Scott Sr. as a sales executive for the organization.
Scott will be in charge of generating sales leads and customers for the company's latest security solution—MISTonDemand II (MoD II), which provides businesses complete, convenient and secure access to their video surveillance system via their smart phone or personal digital assistant (PDA) at a significantly reduced cost.
Scott brings over 22 years of professional services marketing, including: technology-related, health care, and educational consulting; staffing, project management, data, voice, video, security, systems integration, call center services, end user and technical training, manufacturing, proposal management and contract writing.
Prior to becoming a successful business executive, Scott played wide receiver in the NFL for ten years with the Baltimore Colts (1974-1977) and Detroit Lions from (1978-1983). He also spent one year in the USFL with the Los Angeles Express (1984).
