My Alarm Center awards annual scholarships

NEWTON SQUARE, Pa.—My Alarm Center awarded Kristin Hand its annual $1,000 scholarship. Hand, from Baxley, Ga., is studying criminal justice with hopes of being a lawyer, according to a recent statement from My Alarm Center.
For the third consecutive year, the company awarded two additional scholarships.
Christian Renwick, of Earlysville, Va., is studying forensic pathology and was awarded $500. Virginia Paino, also receiving $500, is studying criminal justice to enter law enforcement.
These recipients were chosen from more than 100 submissions.
"Supporting those who are working to become the next generation of security and criminal justice professionals is a cause we proudly support," Amy Kothari, president and CEO of My Alarm Center, said in the statement.
