IRVING, Texas--The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association will host the NBFAA Spring Conference and Chartered State Association Symposium in Las Vegas, April 2 through 6. Members can participate in events such as industry-related training, seminars, discussions and networking.
The conference kicks off on Sunday, April 2, with guest speaker Dan Cain, founder and president of Cain Consulting Group. Cain will present a workshop on management and governance, with a networking event following.
On Monday April 3, the NBFAA will offer a breakfast with Dan Cain that includes a discussion of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Various committee meetings will be held throughout the morning. The association will also honor outgoing association leadership at the annual Leadership Awards Luncheon, followed by the Board of Directors meeting in the afternoon.
The third annual Alarm Industry Research and Educational Foundation/NBFAA golf tournament will take place at the Revere Golf Club on April 4. Registration is available to members and non-members.
The conference will conclude with an evening event hosted by AIREF and NBFAA where the Morris F. Weinstock and Sara E. Jackson Awards will be presented at the Tangerine Lounge & Nightclub at Treasure Island.
Members can also attend National Training School accredited education courses available at the ISC West event, April 4-7.
