Per Mar acquires Monument Electronics

DAVENPORT, Iowa—Per Mar Security Services, a provider of total security solutions for residential and commercial clients based here, has acquired Monument Electronics based in Merrillville, Ind.

“We feel lucky to have been selected by Carol Green to serve her customers going forward,” Per Mar Security Services’ COO Brian Duffy said in the announcement. “She clearly cares about them, and we look forward to getting to know them as well.”

Monument Electronics, founded in 1982, and is a family-owned and operated business serving Northwest Indiana.

 “Our family owned business has been providing personalized security services to our valued customers for the past 25 years and we feel that Per Mar will continue that tradition,” said Green.

Beginning November 19, 2020, Per Mar will begin servicing Monument Electronics’ customers out of its Valparaiso and Griffith, Ind. offices.

Duffy told Security Systems News Per Mar has been fortunate to be able to add some great companies and talent in recent years through strategic acquisitions.

“We’re happy that we have found so many companies in Northwest Indiana that have been a good fit for us,” Duffy said. “It has really helped us build a great group of employees and a strong customer base.”
