HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Wire and cable preparation, installation, and testing company Platinum Tools is joined by security and datacom solutions provider TechLogix in showcasing their products at the 2022 CEDIA Expo.
Platinum tools has said they’ll be showing their popular NetXpert XG2 10G Network Tester. One of its key features being future upgradability that allows firmware to be loaded by end-users via Wi-Fi or USB. “The NetXpert XG2 sets a new standard in versatility and value for cable and network testing as it provides 10G speed certification over copper and fiber, and complete network testing over copper, fiber, and Wi-Fi systems,” said Platinum Tools product manager, Sean Rothermel. “With Cat6A rapidly gaining dominance, a tester capable of certifying networks to 10G speeds has become more of a necessity. With the NetXpert XG2, we have a single device that performs 10G speed certification, as well as all the network tests you need on copper, fiber, and Wi-Fi systems, even PoE testing up to the PoE type 4 standard. This eliminates the need to buy or carry multiple testers for various jobs.”
TechLogix has their MOFO PT Series HDMI and USB with wallplate and insert solutions. The system makes use of TechLogix’s fiber-based technology in managing universal USB and 18G 4K60 HDMI formats. “The TechLogix MOFO™ PT Series is the first HDMI & USB plate solution backed with fiber,” explained NSI V.P., Cameron Smith. “Forget clunky extenders and bandwidth-limited copper cable. The MOFO™ PT Series combines fiber-based cabling with traditional table inserts and wallplates, delivering cleaner installations, fewer failure points and better bandwidth. Simply pull, plug and play.”
Both products can be found on the showfloor September 29 – October 1 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center at booth #5035. For more information about Platinum Tools products, you can visit www.platinumtools.com and conversely for TechLogix you can find them online at www.tlnetworx.com.
