ST. PAUL, Minn.—Anthony Canale, vice president of Verisk Crime Analytics, has joined the board of directors of the Partnership for Priority Video Alarm Response, the group announced this week.
Verisk Crime Analytics, a unit of Verisk Analytics, owns and operates national crime databases that provide services to the construction, retail, transportation, manufacturing and insurance industries. The organization supports law enforcement with crime-related analytical tools.
“Our involvement with PPVAR fits with the mission of Verisk Crime Analytics to use data and analytical tools to support public safety operations and to help our clients reduce the economic impact of crime,” Canale said in a news release.
The PPVAR is a nonprofit association of all property crime stakeholders that promotes priority law enforcement response to video-verified alarms to make more arrests, minimize losses and reduce false alarms.
