Protection One donates solutions for home makeover show

TOPEKA, Kan. - Protection One has teamed up with ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition for the redesign and renovation of several homes featured on the show.
Protection One worked with the show’s redesign team to install fully integrated, electronic security and life safety systems for selected homes.
Systems and services donated by the company include door and window sensors, keypads, monitored fire detectors, intercom systems, video surveillance systems, monitoring services and additional video applications as needed.
Protection One worked with various contractors, vendors and designers to complete the project within the allotted seven-day period.
Protection One is not the only security company working with the makeover program. Michigan-based Guardian Alarm worked with the show earlier this year.
