CAMBRIDGE, Ontario—Rutherford Controls International, Inc. has opened a new warehouse in Anaheim, Calif., according to an Oct. 1 news release.
With the new warehouse, RCI says it will slash shipping times to West Coast customers while increasing inventory and product availability. The company already has warehouses in Virginia Beach, Va., and Cambridge, Ontario.
“We will continue to invest in infrastructure and logistics support to maximize our capability to perform as a leading supplier of access control and electrified locking hardware products,” said Eric Gowland, RCI president, in a prepared statement.
RCI also announced that its electromagnetic locks have won approval from the California State Fire Marshall.
The 5,000 square foot facility, housing DORMA and RCI products, is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PDT, Monday through Friday. RCI plans an open house and BBQ to celebrate the opening and will announce details at a later date.
