ScanSource expands reseller support offerings

GREENVILLE, S.C.—ScanSource, a distributor based here, has created a new business unit that provides support programs and services for reseller partners, according to a company statement.
The group will manage a variety of affordable services resellers can use to extend their capabilities and increase profits during their solution sale, including assessment, configuration and implementation.
New offerings include enhanced mobility solutions, access to complete configuration and integration for the newest IP Office release, remote access to pre-program features, on-demand video presentations for marketing purposes, new training classes, and the Avaya Networking Enablement Program, a networking portfolio tool.
“We are very excited to have a business unit that is solely focused on delivering industry-leading professional services, education and training, and marketing support to our reseller partners,” Mike Burns, president of the new business unit, said in a company statement. “We are continually looking for new ways to help resellers grow their businesses more efficiently and cost effectively.”
