Securitas adds two to leadership team

UNIONTOWN, Ohio—Securitas Electronic Security, formerly Diebold Security, today announced two new senior staff members. Ina Staris has been appointed VP, legal, general counsel & secretary, and Pete Straka has been appointed VP, human resources.
Staris brings 20 years of security/fire industry experience. Staris comes to Securitas from Stanley Convergent Security Systems, where she served as senior legal counsel for 10 years, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Staris has advised several national and international companies on all aspects of general corporate, litigation, commercial, and compliance matters. In addition to her business law experience, Staris has advised, structured and negotiated several U.S. and international business mergers and acquisitions, according to the Securitas announcement.
She is a graduate of UMASS Amherst and Boston College Law School and is admitted to the New York State and Massachusetts bars, as well as being admitted as “in-house counsel” in Florida.?
Pete Straka has 20 years of human resources experience in the electronic security industry. He has worked for several industry leading organizations including SecurityLink, ADT/Tyco, HSM and Stanley CSS. Straka holds a bachelor's degree in industrial/organizational psychology and a master's degree in labor and industrial relations from the University of Illinois.?
