Securityhunter nabs Navy contract

BALTIMORE—Securityhunter, a designer and installer of security systems for commercial and government entities, was awarded a contract from the U.S. Navy to install physical security and access control systems, according to a news release. Securityhunter is one of three companies sharing the three-year contract, which is worth $99 million.
The integrator, based here, was awarded a federal indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for U.S. Navy facilities and property both in the continental United States and internationally, including joint bases assigned to the Navy, the statement noted.
The ID/IQ contract, part of the Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Ashore Program, includes perimeter security and access control for both vehicles and pedestrians. PSIM will also be included to help collect and analyze data, according to the statement.
“This award will anchor our strategic earning projections for this fiscal year,” Michael Rogers, CEO of Securityhunter, said in the statement.
