SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif.—Senseon, maker of an intelligent cabinet-level access control system designed for cabinet doors, drawers and more, recently launched Senseon Plus, the next generation of its system with new features including audit trail capability.
Senseon Plus is designed for hinged and sliding doors, drawers, display cases and other fixtures, and helps users create superior customer experience by providing an easy-to-use, cabinet-level locking solution. It can be installed, implemented and configured in new or existing fixtures. Thieves and customers are unable to see locks or keyholes further enhancing security while maintaining cabinet design.
“No other product on the market better meets users' needs for unobtrusive, intelligent electronic locking at the cabinet level while also providing actionable operations data,” said Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Senseon, Sid Kalantar. “Senseon Plus' flexible, adaptable and scalable footprint makes it the ideal commercial-grade cabinet locking system in any retail environment.”
With its robust audit trail, Senseon Plus provides time, location and identity of a person attempting access and reports failed efforts. In the event of an unauthorized attempt, a local alarm is generated and connected systems, such as video surveillance and silent alarm systems, are informed. In combination with the ability to allow individual access to one or more specific openings, dual authorization and easy configuration via a handheld, touch-screen programmer, Senseon Plus enables users to strengthen security, reduce shrinkage, improve merchandising and streamline transactions.
The system can secure a single cabinet, an entire store or a national chain of stores using one set of credentials, benefitting healthcare, financial, hospitality and residential environments. Virtually any user who needs to protect valuables, including merchandise, medications, cash, documents or collectibles, will benefit.
