BILLERICA, Mass.—Setronics has been awarded the Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium (MHEC) 05 Security & Emergency Communications contract, the company announced Feb. 10.
"Being awarded as an approved vendor on this contract is viewed as an asset and we look forward to working with the MHEC members who procure security services through us under this agreement," said Brian LaCroix, Setronics president, in a prepared statement.
Setronics was awarded a FAC64 contract in September 2013, a deal that made it easier for school systems and other public entities to work with the integrator.
MHEC membership is open to public and private higher-education institutes throughout Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
