Shabodi and Megh Computing unveil network-aware video analytics solutions for private 5g networks

HILLSBORO, Ore. – Shabodi and Megh Computing announced the launch of their network-aware video analytics solutions suite for private networks.

The solutions have at their core the Video Analytics Solution (VAS) product line, Megh’s Open Analytics platform, and Shabodi’s network-aware Application Enablement Platform (AEP). The suite has been designed for private advanced networks including LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and 6G. In their official press release Megh describes video analytics as a critical sensory technology across many industrial use cases like security and surveillance and “Smart” applications for smart cities, factories, and warehouses.

Megh said that Shabodi’s AEP, which allows their video analytics applications to become network-aware, helps simplify the underlying complexities of telecom network APIs. Additionally, the real-time interaction between Megh Computing’s application and Shabodi’s AEP allows the application to adjust frame rates depending on the number of active cameras.
