She sells security

I’m writing this after completing the first leg of my journey towards ISC West 2024, and I can safely say that “She Sells Sanctuary” by The Cult is the best road song of all time.

What are some good runners up you might ask? “Roundabout” by Yes, and “Last Train Home” by Pat Metheny for sure. Late night drive? “No Sleep till Brooklyn” by the Beastie Boys, easily answered questions. What might not be an easily answered question is what programming and education to visit at the show this year. If I might point you in a certain direction, Security Systems News (SSN) previewed some of those panels that you might want to take a look at ahead of showtime.

Speaking of busy people allow me to apologize ahead of time if you are one of the hundreds of emails I received this week that I simply cannot make time for. I’m serious! My dance card is punched through and through. There are so many amazing companies on the show floor and all of us here at SSN do our best to make time for them, but unless cloning makes some impressive leaps in the near future I’m afraid that I’m all I have to offer.

What’s truly exciting is what will be on offer during the show this year, I’ll be getting my first taste of it tomorrow and I’m looking forward to another exciting year of ISC West. SSN will be conducting video interviews with a number of industry members and visiting the booths of important security movers and shakers.
