ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Security Industry Association Executive Committee on June 7 announced it had stepped up its chief executive officer search activities and is accepting resumes to find a replacement for former CEO Richard Chace.
An email solicitation for resume submissions advised candidates to submit their information via email to CEOsearch@siaonline.org.
SIA Executive Committee chairman Gordon Hope (Honeywell VP marketing and business development) said SIA has "received and continue[s] to receive numerous applications.” Hope said the association is “in the evaluation process at this point. Over the next 60 days or so we should be in a better position as to narrowing the final field for an ultimate replacement."
SIA COO Rand Price is temporarily managing day-to-day operations of the association under the auspices of the executive committee.
SIA protects and advances its members' interests by advocating pro-industry policies and legislation on Capitol Hill and throughout the 50 states.
