SSN, SIA WISF to continue partnership to promote diversity in 2025

YARMOUTH, Maine, and SILVER SPRING, Md.—Security Systems News is proud to partner again in 2025 with the Security Industry Association's (SIA’s) Women in Security Forum (WISF) to spotlight an incredibly diverse list of security professionals (see list below) to be highlighted in special features throughout the year.

SSN and SIA WISF began the partnership in 2021 and in 2022, expanded coverage beyond one issue with one person profiled in each issue, as well as online at www.securitysystemsnews.com.

As we embark on a fifth year of this invaluable spotlight, I want to personally thank Cory Harris and the entire SSN team for their outstanding generosity and dedication."

Without further ado, the following women selected by SIA’s Women in Security Forum, in partnership with SSN, will be profiled in each issue of SSN in 2025:

  • Tiffany Renz – director of sales – North America, Secure Issuance FARGO, HID  
  • Denise Niles – vice president, strategic partnerships, Alliance Building Services  
  • Anjene Abston – executive director, Northeast Division security director, JPMorgan Chase  
  • Sabrina Wilson – senior vice president of human resources, dormakaba  
  • Elli Reges – director of learning and development, Security Industry Association (SIA)  
  • Katie Henry – vice president of QHSE and change management, dormakaba

“There are so many inspiring women in the security industry, and the Women in Security Forum aims to lift their voices and tell their stories. Security Systems News has been an early ally in helping us accomplish this,” added Candice Aragon, SIA WISF vice chair and PSA chief experience officer. “Many are working hard volunteering in WISF to provide a community for others and champion women. This is a wonderful opportunity to honor them.”

The Women in Security Forum, which is free and open to all SIA members, supports the participation and retention of women in the security industry and provides opportunities that fosters growth and advancement. Through programs, professional development and networking opportunities, the Forum engages members - both men and women - who share this goal.
