DENVER—Full-service security company United Systems, based here, has acquired Absolute Fire and Safety to expand commercial fire and safety services throughout Colorado.
Absolute Fire and Safety brings its test and inspection work to the company, Williamson said. The addition of Absolute's five employees “and their expertise allows us to tell the story that we are the total solution for (our customers.) It allows us to present a really great package,” Jeff Williamson, United Systems' director of corporate development, told Security Systems News.
“We got a really great team. We're a big family now,“ Williamson said.
The newly created United Systems Fire & Safety division will enable United Systems to be “a true one-source vendor” for its “thousands of commercial customers,” he said.
“It now allows us to leverage the higher side of the business. Overall, this will make for a better client experience,” he said. United Systems has 30 employees and has served commercial clients since 1957.
Its services include: fire alarm system design, installation, monitoring, service, repair and inspections; fire sprinkler systems inspection service and monitoring; restaurant hood suppression inspection, service and repair; fire extinguisher inspection, installation, service, re-charging or replacement; emergency lighting inspection service and repair; smoke detector sensitivity testing and backflow testing.
“Clients are now able to have all of their fire/safety, intrusion, video surveillance, and access control systems designed, installed, serviced and inspected by one vendor. We are excited, ready, willing and able to deliver our expanded line of fire and safety services now," David Neusteter, president and CEO of United Systems, said in a prepared statement.
Absolute Fire and Safety has been in the area for more than 14 years.
