SYOSSET, N.Y. - Honeywell continues to expand its reach in the security market, announcing earlier this week that it bought Vindicator Technologies, a manufacturer of integrated electronic security systems sold to the government, corrections and industrial applications.
Vindicator will be part of the Honeywell Access Systems business unit, led by John Lorenty. Terms of the transaction were not released.
According to Rick Gross, president of Vindicator Technologies, an Austin, Texas-based company founded in 1973, Honeywell provides resources and technology to bring Vindicator’s products to the next generation level.
Vindicator’s products are sold to sensitive facilities, such as military facilities, power plants and industrial sites.
