BURNABY, British Columbia - Viscount Systems has agreed to buy the assets of the Enterphone product line owned by TELUS Corp., Viscount officials said Wednesday.
In a conditional purchase agreement, Viscount will purchase Enterphone’s monthly service contracts and inventory for no more than $450,000, the agreement said. The final price is contingent on the number of assigned contracts, according to company officials.
Stephen Pineau, Viscount’s chief executive officer, said the purchase of the Enterphone product line is a strategic move for the company, one that will present sales opportunities for the Viscount’s MESH product to the multi-residential and commercial buildings that hold service contracts for the Enterphone line.
