Axis products secure utilities substation, deterring thieves

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—This city has installed Axis thermal and pan/tilt/zoom cameras to secure a utilities substation, Axis announced Nov. 26. The system has already alerted police of four incidents at one substation, according to the release. Security systems save the city $6,000 per copper theft, and help to protect staff and intruders from electrocution, the release says.
