MUNICH—Siemens AG has appointed Christiane Ribeiro as the new global head of communications. She will report to Roland Busch, president and CEO, effective March 1, 2025.

NORTH CANTON, Ohio—Diebold Inc., the parent company of systems integration company Diebold, today named Andy W. Mattes as its new president, CEO and board member.
Mattes replaces Thomas Swidarski, who stepped down in January after poor earnings were reported.

NEW YORK—A New York judge has thrown out a lawsuit seeking damages from Siemens First Capital Commercial Finance for canceling an initial public offering for a security alarm company, according to a Reuters article.
The judge dismissed breach of contract, breach of good faith and fair dealing, and breach of fiduciary duties claims against Siemens First Capital and three of its directors.
