De Fina named to SIA leadership role
RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.— Frank De Fina, Samsung Techwin SVP of sales and marketing, North America, has been appointed to the Security Industry Association Board of Directors Executive Committee.
De Fina will serve as vice chairman of the six-member committee, which is composed of industry professionals who represent a broad spectrum of electronic security interests.
“These are exciting times for the electronic security industry in terms of technology development and the expanded vision for its use,” said De Fina, in a prepared statement. “I am looking forward to serving on the executive committee and helping to steer decisions that will address and fulfill the needs of the security community both now and in the future.”
De Fina’s career spans more than three decades in the professional electronics industry. He also holds positions in the International Biometrics Industry Association (IBIA) and is a board member of the Paley Center for Media (formerly Museum of Television and Radio) as well as a member of the board of the New York Friar’s Club Foundation.
