AlarmForce's revenue exceeds $6M Brief

TORONTO--AlarmForce announced its revenue in the first six months of 2005 exceeded CDN 8 million ($6.55 million).
This revenue mark represented an increase of 19 percent from the corresponding six months of 2004. The company also reported that in the second quarter, its monitored account base rose to more than 52,700 subscribers up from 44,800 at the end of April 30, 2004--an increase of 18 percent.
The full-service alarm firm, which announced its expansion into the United States last year, opened its first U.S. office in North Carolina. It plans on opening two additional branches in North Carolina within the year.
