Bill Gately named CEO of ISCON

WOBURN, Mass.—Bill Gately has been appointed CEO of ISCON Imaging, a manufacturer of infrared security scanners, the company announced Sept. 18.

“Bill is a proven executive leader with extensive experience in the fields of electronics, semiconductors, homeland defense and security,” said Yoav Stern, president and CEO of DVTEL, parent company of ISCON, in a prepared statement. “I am excited to have Bill join ISCON as he has the vision, depth and business acumen to lead the company into its next phase of evolution and growth.”

Gately was previously the general manager of Dynasil Corp.'s Nuclear Detection Division, where he led the first large-scale commercialization of the Dynasil's radiation sensor technology. He has also worked for Philips Advanced Metrology Systems, which manufactures automated semiconductor metrology equipment.

“ISCON's imagine technology provides the security industry's only radiation-free and non-intrusive personnel inspection system,” said Gately. “Given the ever-increasing demands being put on governmental agencies and corporations to provide effective and practical personnel screening solutions, ISCON is currently working with several leading customers to provide customized products in areas such as aviation, corrections and loss prevention.”
