Boyd & Associates acquire Get Alarmed

PALM DESERT, Calif.—Boyd & Associates, a private security company based here, has announced the acquisition of Get Alarmed, an Indio, Calif.-based burglar and fire alarm company, according to a company statement.
In a prepared statement, Perry Pastion, owner of Get Alarmed, said he feels comfortable turning his customers over to Boyd & Associates, saying that like his company, Boyd & Associates is family owned and has a reputation for staying close to its customers.
Dan Boyd, president of Boyd & Associates, said his company provides security guards at many gated communities in Palm Desert, and that this makes them very close already to customers in those communities. In December of 2011, Boyd Associates acquired the assets of Bay Security of Costa Mesa, Calif.
