Matrix Security named Security Pro dealer WILMINGTON, Del. - A 20-year-old security dealer here has been named to the GE Security Pro dealer program. Matrix Security Systems, which has been servicing accounts in the Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania region for two decades, was named to the program because of its excellence in customer service, alarm system design and installation, according to Security Pro Director Michael Benedict. John Colehower, managing director of Matrix, was also recognized for his 20 years in the security industry. AlarmForce named among fast-growing firms TORONTO - AlarmForce Industries Inc. was named one of the 200 fastest Canadian companies by Profit magazine. The ranking is based on five-year revenue growth. AlarmForce President and Chief Executive Officer Joel Matlin said the company has generated growth rates in excess of 20 percent per year. AlarmForce, which operates a central station at its headquarters here, has 30 offices throughout Canada. Protection One elects directors TOPEKA, Kan. - Protection One has elected nine members to its board of directors at the company’s annual meeting May 28. Richard Ginsburg, Protection One’s president and chief executive officer, Ben Enis, James Wilson and Donald Johnston were elected to the board. Five members were also nominated by Westar Energy: William Moore, chief operating officer of Westar; Bruce Akin, vice president, Westar’s business services; Larry Irick, vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Westar; Greg Greenwood, treasurer of Westar; and James Clark, former Westar Energy officer. Darius Nevin, Protection One’s chief financial officer, resigned as a director to accommodate the election of the five Westar nominees.
