Advanced Electronic awarded airport job NEW YORK - Systems integrator Advanced Electronic Solutions has been contracted by American Airlines to provide final design and installation for the access control system at the airline’s new terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport. The terminal will include more than 50 gates and measure more than 2.2 million square feet. The access control system AES will install is based on the Software House C•Cure 800 platform, using a redundant server, more than 85 apC/8X panels, 600 readers and multiple employee workstations. ISR snags Fort Bragg security contract CHANTILLY, Va. - ISR Solutions has been awarded a contract with the United States Army at Fort Bragg, N.C. As part of the three-year contract, ISR Solutions will provide service and preventative maintenance for access control and CCTV systems in 11 existing buildings at the army base. Fort Bragg is home of the 18th Airborne Corps, 82nd Airborne Division and Army Special Operations. Wackenhut Corrections relocates offices BOCA RATON, Fla. - Wackenhut Corrections Corp. has moved its headquarters from Palm Beach Gardens to here, a change that comes a year after Group 4 Falck acquired a 57 percent state in the company. Approximately 100 people will occupy the building, which also serves as the Eastern regional offices for Wackenhut Corrections and its healthcare subsidiary, Atlantic Shores Healthcare. According to a Wackenhut press release, the company signed a 10-year lease agreement for the facility.
