Lantronix signs deal with FutureSmart

IRVINE, Calif. - Lantronix has signed a deal with a structured wiring hardware manufacturer to integrate its Premise SYS Automation Software with FutureSmart's structured wiring panel and server.

The partnership will allow the combined control server to more easily deliver entertainment through media management, web access to security cameras and automation and communications benefits.
Home Depot to showcase security products in safety campaign

ATLANTA - Home improvement retailer The Home Depot has kicked off a customer education initiative on safety and security. As part of the campaign, related products will be showcased prominently in every store, including fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, security lighting, entry alarms and other related items in the Home Safety Zone.

The campaign kicked off in October in recognition of National Fire Safety month.
Home improvement website showcases services to consumers

NEW YORK - The Home Improvement Resource Center has launched the most recent version of its website, www.homeimprovementreso-urcecenter.com, to match consumers with providers of home services, such as home security.

When a homeowner signs on and gives his or her zip code, up to four pre-screened contractors are matched based on the homeowner's location.

The Home Improvement Resource Center is a wholly owned subsidiary of MAP Marketing LLC.
