Integrators honored at GE Security conference HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Seventeen security integrators were recognized by GE Infrastructure, Security as recipients of its 2004 Security Conference Integrator Awards. Companies were given awards for various achievements. Award winners were RFI Security Inc., Navco, Ibamatic S.A., Hamilton Pacific, Electronic Technology Corp., Dowley Inc., C&C Group, All Safe Video, Video Technica Co., Thales Security Systems, Site Technology, S.P.I, Vision Southeast, ADT Security Services and Jullien / S.A.I.C. The rising star award went to American Home Protection of Lewisville, Texas, while the continued excellence award went to Electronic Specialty company in Dunbar, W.Va. NSI signs deal with Software House GERMANTOWN, Md. - National Security Integrators, an alliance of systems integrators across the country, who have come together to provide national service, has signed an deal with Software House to provide its access control product as the primary solution sold by NSI members. As a result of the partnership, NSI’s 11 members will install and service access control products from Software House. University job par for the course for The Comm Group PITTSBURGH - The COMM Group, which was recently acquired by ISR Solutions, announced that it has been awarded an $850,000 contract by the University of Pittsburgh’s Bio Medical Science Tower III to provide and install structured Cabling and a new fire alarm system. The contract win is one of several for the company in recent months, with a number of school projects and work for a nearby college. Those jobs totaled $1.3 million worth of work and included the installation of fire, security and sound systems. The company was bought by ISR Solutions in late March, providing ISR Solutions with expertise in structured wiring. The deal marked the first acquisition for ISR, which has focused on internal growth for the last five years.
