CentraLarm opens expanded facility

Upgrades more than double company's square footage MANCHESTER, N.H. - In September, CentraLarm Monitoring Inc. unveiled its newly expanded facility that incorporates an additional 9,000 square feet of office space. The addition brings the facility’s square footage to 16,000. The company added additional space to accommodate the growth of its CentraLarm group of companies. These include the central station, which monitors 55,000 accounts for 150 dealers, the Execucom call center, CentraVision remote video monitoring and StarTracs, a GPS-based asset tracking and personal emergency system. The new layout of the facility includes three command centers spread over three floors, two floors of executive and administrative offices and a conference suite. The family-owned and -operated company recently connected to a local Fiber SONET Ring with copper line backup to provide triple redundancy of telephone services when combined with multiple telephone carriers. CentraLarm also has installed a new receiver that uses caller ID to store the originating number to an automation history that a dealer can access anytime through a secure website. All this is part of CentraLarm’s dedication to keep up with the latest and greatest technology available to the marketplace, said Kevin Helmig, the company’s senior vice president. “Our perpetual drive to offer the hottest technology to our customers is always a primary focus for us since technology is ever-changing,” he said.
