WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. – COPS Monitoring, a provider of professional monitoring services, announced that one of its dispatch team members, Dorjan Engram, has been recognized as the Integration Association of Florida's (IAF's) Operator of the Year.

COPS said that this prestigious award acknowledges Engram's exceptional dedication, outstanding performance, and unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of the dealers, customers, and communities that COPS serves.

The IAF recognizes outstanding individuals and organizations who demonstrate exceptional contributions, dedication, and innovation in electronic security, fire safety, automation, and life safety. This year, Engram has been recognized as the 2023 IAF Central Station Operator of the Year for his exceptional professionalism and expertise in managing emergency situations and alarm response.

Formerly the Alarm Association of Florida, the IAF has undergone rebranding which the association said is a reflection of its commitment to innovation, advancement, and a bold step towards a more inclusive future.

Engram joined the COPS team in 2017 and has consistently demonstrated exemplary skills in handling urgent situations, ensuring fast and effective responses to a multitude of emergencies, the company said.

According to Jim McMullen, president of COPS Monitoring, "It's because of people like Dorjan that COPS Monitoring is so well-known in the industry for the compassion and concern we show towards customers and their situations. When we recruit dispatchers, among the most important traits is a desire to serve, and someone who will be able to remain calm when it counts. I can say without reservation that Dorjan embodies these characteristics."

Shannon Few, IAF executive director, congratulated Engram on receiving the 2023 IAF Central Station Operator of the Year award. "Dorjan's instincts and willingness to jump in and help during a crisis are admirable. We are thrilled to recognize Dorjan for his quick action and for being there for his customers in a time of great need," she said.

COPS noted that this is not the first time Engram has been recognized for his work. He was awarded the highest honor given by COPS Monitoring, the Chairman’s Award of Excellence, in 2021 and has been runner-up in multiple years. These awards, they said, are a testament to his consistent excellence and dedication to the company's mission and highlight his crucial role as a valuable asset within the COPS Monitoring team.
