CSC gains FBI contract Brief

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--Computer Sciences Corp. was awarded a $58- million order to provide certification, accreditation and information security services to the FBI.
The agreement could last for five years, if the FBI decides to go ahead with the ability to renew the contract after the initial year for four more one year contracts.
CSC brought together its two areas of expertise in the security market--cyber and personal security--to form a new division called Global Security Solutions.
Other companies teaming up with CSC on the project includeTrinity Technologies Group, Missing Link Communications and Ingersoll Consulting.
