Elite Interactive Solutions promotes Michael Zatulov to president

LOS ANGELES—Elite Interactive Solutions (EIS), a provider of guard replacement services using proprietary intelligence and 100% verified police calls, announced it has promoted COO Michael Zatulov to president of the company.

Zatulov, a member of the Security Systems News 40 under 40 Class of 2021, has been integral in leading Elite to double-digit year-over-year growth, substantial increases in recurring monthly revenue (RMR) and low single-digit customer attrition since joining the company in 2018.

Elite Interactive Solutions“Michael has done an exceptional job managing a multitude of responsibilities directly related to Elite’s tremendous success in recent years,” said EIS founder Aria Kozak, who will remain in his CEO role and continue to actively engage with the business. “Michael’s high-level thinking and keen aptitude for managing both the financial and operational sides of the company have made his promotion to president exceedingly well deserved.”

Zatulov is an accomplished business operator with more than a decade of experience at the executive level of complex organizations with a focus on technology companies. In addition to his daily impact with Elite, he has garnered significant recognition during his relatively short time in the security industry, including Elite capturing the Security Industry Alarm Coalition’s 2020 Police Dispatch Quality (PDQ) Award.

“I am honored, excited and grateful to have the opportunity to help lead Elite’s amazing team achieve new levels of success and market penetration,” Zatulov stated. “This is a fantastic industry for a multitude of reasons — including fast-advancing technology, marketplace demand and fulfilling the need to provide essential public services — and Elite is ideally positioned to remain at the forefront of progressive and proactive security solutions.”

Prior to joining Elite, Zatulov served as a senior executive at a private equity firm focused on lower-middle market acquisitions where he directly oversaw operations of several publicly recognized brands. He began his career as a CPA where he was involved in both business consulting and tax strategy practices.

Zatulov received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
