ObjectVideo, Aimetis enter licensing agreement

RESTON, Va.—ObjectVideo, a provider of intelligent video software, has signed a global, portfolio-wide patent license agreement with Aimetis, a video management systems provider based in Waterloo, Ontario according to a company statement.
“Aimetis is a leader in tightly integrating video analytics into an easy-to-use video management solutions,” Raul Fernandez, chairman of ObjectVideo, said in the statement. “We are pleased to have them join the growing number of IP camera and VMS providers who have become patent licensees.”
Aimetis is the tenth manufacturer to join ObjectVideo's patent licensing program. Other licensees include Panasonic, which signed on in January 2013, as well as Bosch Security Systems, American Dynamics, Pelco by Schneider Electric, Sony Corporation, Intellivision, and VIVOTEK.
