YARMOUTH, Maine—Security Systems News' 11th annual Women in Security December issue is even more special this year, as it was done in partnership with the Security Industry Association's (SIA) Women in Security Forum (WISF), with input from members of the WISF committee on who we should highlight and celebrate.
This issue has grown in status and in the number of women being highlighted over the past few years, culminating in a record 14 women being profiled in this year's WIS December issue.
The women who are highlighted come from the many different areas that make up the security industry — commercial, residential, monitoring, suppliers, consulting, cybersecurity, IT and associations — illustrating how talented and diverse the industry is becoming as it embraces new technologies and methodologies and grows and evolves.
Please click on the links below to read the profiles for each of the 14 security professionals highlighted in SSN's Women in Security issue. The profiles, as well as any other related editorial can also be found by clicking on our newly created Women in Security tab on the menu bar at the top of the landing page.
Hope you enjoy reading these as much as we enjoyed putting them together.
