Voxcom records improved EBITDA
EDMONTON, Alberta - Home and business security provider Voxcom in late October reported slightly higher EBITDA and monthly monitoring revenues for the quarter ending Aug. 31, 2003.
By increasing its monthly recurring revenue from monitoring by 3.7 percent in the quarter, a figure which was slightly higher than the quarterly growth in subscribers, the company was able to increase EBITDA by 2.6 percent to $3.34 million Canadian.
“The company has continued to improve on its key financial performance metrics of monthly recurring revenue, EBITDA and cash flow from operations,†said Brad Sparrow, president and chief executive officer. “Our EBIDTA margin for the quarter was 49.2 percent as compared with 48.1 percent in the first quarter of this year.â€Â
Voxcom’s cash flow from operations also increased to $2.5 million for the quarter and $5.07 million year to date, due to interest savings that were realized from a recapitalization of the company in the second quarter of last year.
