LAS VEGAS—Mission 500 named Alliance Security as the winner of its Corporate Social Responsibility award at the Security 5/2K Awards Ceremony on April 7 here, during ISC West 2016.
“Alliance Security's responsibility of protecting people goes beyond our customers. Our goal is to simply inspire a culture of service and live up to our name," Jay Gotra, CEO of Alliance Security, said in a prepared statement. "This means building alliances in the community to help others in need. We're grateful for this prestigious award, which would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our employees to Alliance's core values."
Alliance's Corporate Social Responsibility program focuses on helping nonprofits with missions in three core areas: ending and preventing domestic violence, bridging the opportunity gap for urban youth, and assisting low income families, the announcement said.
Alliance Security is an authorized dealer with Monitronics. In a prepared statement, Bruce Mungiguerra, Monitronics SVP of operations, said the company is “setting an example of corporate values and how important it is to get everyone involved to make a positive impact.”
“In our seventh year we continue to be inspired by the generosity and commitment of this industry,” George Fletcher, advisory board member and Mission 500 volunteer, said in the statement. “The participation of so many individuals and organizations is vital to our mission of funding programs for those in need, and it is our honor to recognize their efforts.”
Mission 500 is a non-profit organization focused on the security industry and dedicated to serving the needs of children and communities in crisis.
