American Defense Systems acquires Point Security

DALLAS—Today American Defense Systems announced the acquisition of Point Security, a fellow Brinks Home Security Authorized Dealer in Austin, Texas. While the transaction officially closed July 17^th, both companies have been working together, installing smart security systems for Brinks Home Security. Curtis Kindred, CEO, American Defense Systems, has worked closely with Todd Fitch, CEO, Point Security for many years before deciding to join forces.

American Defense Systems will continue to leverage strategic partnerships to provide smart home solutions to both commercial and residential customers on a national level. With the addition of Point Security, CCTV and video surveillance systems will be installed at a higher frequency with ample, nation-wide technician coverage.

Together I know we will continue to be industry leaders through this acquisition and increase our overall product offerings throughout our nationwide footprint.”

Point Security specializes in CCTV, hardwire video solutions and smart security systems for commercial and residential customers. The company will rebrand to American Defense Systems on August 1, 2019, facilitating sales and installation in the Austin, San Antonio and Houston markets while using additional resources, state licensing and technicians.

With a combined embedded base of more than 40,000 customers, the joint company will be capable of growing into the No. 1 Brinks Home Security Affiliate Partner by the end of Q3, 2019.
